| Caller ID |
Caller ID (Caller Identification) lets you know who is
calling you even before you answer the phone. This caller's number is displayed on the
Caller ID unit, as listed in the directory. Customers ordering this service must purchase
a Caller ID display unit or a telephone with a built-in display to take advantage of this
service.

| Call Waiting |
The call waiting "beep" alerts you of another
phone call, when you are already on the line.
|
| Tone Block |
Tone Block deactivates your Call Waiting temporarilly,
during a particular call or when you are using your fax or modem. Tone Block is available
to residential and business customers where facilities permit.

| Three-Way Calling |
Three-Way Calling allows you the convenience of talking to
three people at the same time over the phone.

| Call Forwarding |
Call Forwarding helps you get those important calls that
you might otherwise miss. The convenience of having your calls transferred to the number
of your choice means never having to miss a call again.

| Call Forwarding/Busy |
This feature forwards those incoming calls to another
phone of your choice or to call answering if you have this feature on your line also.

| Call Forwarding/No Answer |
This feature will forward those incoming calls that would
otherwise go unanswered when no-one is available. You can even choose how many times your
phone rings before the call is forwarded.

| Return Call |
This service allows a calling party to automatically
return the most recent incoming call.
|
| Select Reject 12/32 Numbers |
This feature lets you choose up to 32 phone numbers whose
calls you would want to refuse.

| Select Accept 12/32 Numbers |
This feature lets you to accept only those calls that are
important to you.

| Select Toll Calling |
This service allows the customer to place toll calls from
customer requested toll restricted lines by dialing a pin number before placing a toll
call.

| Speed Calling |
Speed Calling allows you to have the most important phone
numbers at your fingertips. The South Canaan Telephone Company offers two Speed Calling
options: Speed Calling 8 and Speed Calling 30, which allows you to store eight or thirty
of your most important numbers you dial.

| Call Answering |
Call Answering is an easy-to-use voice answering system
for residential and business customers. Calls are answered by Call Answering when you are
unable to answer the phone, or are busy with another call. Callers can leave messages for
you to receive at a later time. Your telephone can be any touch tone model; no special
equipment is required for this service.

Meridian Mail is an electronic voice messaging system that
allows you to communicate with people both inside and outside your organization.
